Building Web2 & Web3 Ecosystem with Security and Privacy Protection

August 16, 2022

What are the various initiatives from the public and private sectors being implemented? As both Web2 and Web3 are developing their capabilities and ecosystem, digital infrastructures that empower the projects or communities will have a competitive advantage. Yet, any infrastructure that is not secure or without privacy protection will not be desirable.

Come and join us for a discussion with the various stakeholders, especially if you are building metaverse, AI, open blockchain, payment system, stablecoins, DeFi, GameFi, SocialFi, green finance, privacy protection, Web2 and Web3 projects. You will get an insight into which will develop faster and how you can capitalise on the emerging trends and their impact on society.

With the impact of interest rate hikes, DeFi is stepping into a temporary downturn. Some over-innovative projects are being disproven. However, the foundation of DeFi has been built, with well-established infrastructure and a growing user base.

One of our researcher from SUSS NiFT has also shared the current status and future trend of DeFi on the event day.

The SUSS Node for Inclusive FinTech Team (NiFT) aims to facilitate and encourage exchanges between the academia and industry to learn from each other on the latest and most relevant topics on FinTech, blockchain and cryptocurrencies, and to explore together the potential of technology to bring about financial integration and inclusion. Our activities are supported by the SUSS Inclusive FinTech fund.

To allow us to continue to benefit more students and the community, we seek your kind donation to the SUSS Inclusive FinTech fund. Your generous donations will go to developing the capabilities of the younger generations in FinTech and Blockchain, and bridging the gaps between practitioners/thought leaders and the community in the bid to promote an inclusive society.

Donations are tax-deductible. To find out more on how you can contribute, please click here:
