In this 2-day course, we will explore the roots of the digital conflict with the US and China. We will show the evolution of 5G and the new tools that this technology will foster — prop tech, digital currency Silk Road ecommerce and payments.

Overview

In this 2-day course, we will explore the roots of the digital conflict with the US and China. We will show the evolution of 5G and the new tools that this technology will foster — prop tech, digital currency Silk Road ecommerce and payments. The role of millennials is crucial here, but there are roadblocks, especially in the US.

We will explore some of the cultural and mental health issues which prevent millennials from having a more prominent role in the incumbent Fortune 100 companies. We will do a number of group workshops designed to facilitate frank discussion between the over 40s and the millennials. We will examine the rollout of IoT in Latin America and Asia by AT&T and Coke as case studies. Accenture and Verizon are also case studies. We will examine why the US us having difficulty creating 5G networks. And we will look at ways to growth hack the Chinese ecommerce market.

Objectives

A.  Knowledge and Understanding (Theory Component)

At the end of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Analyse underlying causes of the rift between the US and China in the tech war
  • Appraise the political, cultural & mental health hindrances for both China and the US in the tech race
  • Describe how millennials hit a roadblock in Fortune 100 companies with case studies
  • Critique the roots of anxiety in millennials and what we can do about it

B.  Key Skills (Practical Component)

At the end of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Construct roadmap on how 5G and IOT will create prop tech: finance, insurance & property in one
  • Assess how the Digital Currency Electronic Payment, DC/EP, will be rolled out
  • Evaluate ways for millennials to breach the communication gap with the older generation and vice versa
  • Formulate 18 steps to crack the Chinese ecommerce market
